Musings of a House Officer

1. For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything

2. In all labour there is profit, but idle chatter only leads to poverty

3. Righteousness exalts a nation....

4. The greatest security is to plan and act, and take the risk that will ultimately ensure    your personal freedom and independence (Denis Waitley)

5. The pertinent question to ask after 4 months of housemanship is...what am I becoming? haha

6. The only part of God we understand, is the part we have obeyed (Oswald Chambers)

Prof Khalid - the Monash blue eyed boy
In talking about the life of an academician, he reminded us not to neglect our responsibility to provide financially for our family. After serving spending over twenty years serving in a public university, he still had to sell land he inherited from his parents to fund his children's education overseas. In short, we need business acumen to survive.
